Big Walk Achievements —All 12 Unlocks
A progression-order checklist with trigger boundaries so your party knows why a trophy did not pop.
Big Walk ships with twelve achievements (Steam) / matching PS5 trophies. This page is a trigger guide, not a full puzzle dump: it tells you which action actually unlocks each award, when to attempt it, and what to check when the popup refuses to appear. Longer routes stay on Tower Order, Endings, Backpacks, and Challenges.
Unlock-rate percentages below were a mid–launch-week snapshot and will drift as more parties finish the late game —use them as a rough rarity signal, not a mandatory order.
Recommended achievement order
- Cross the opening drawbridge —Big Walk
- Wear a backpack on your back —Big Pack
- Enter the physical Map Room —Big View
- Wear a hip item on an equipped belt —Big Help
- Ride the active Green chairlift —Big Sit
- Reach the island’s highest point —Big Climb
- Enter the opened Yellow tunnel —Big Tunnel
- Board the moving Blue train —Big Ride
- Pass beyond the late-game wall —Big Wall
- Finish the main ending —Big Goodbye
- Finish full completion —Big Game
- Complete the Shiny interaction —Big Makeover
Finish early equipment + Map Room first, then Green → Yellow → Blue transport trophies. Leave wall, endings, and Shiny for late cleanup instead of abandoning an active tower night.
All 12 achievements
| Achievement | Requirement | Typical stage |
|---|---|---|

| Big Pack | Wear a Backpack | First island loop |
| Big View | Visit the map (Map Room) | After Red Tower |
| Big Help | Wear something on your hip | Early equipment |
| Big Sit | Ride the Chairlift | After Green Tower |
| Big Climb | Reach the highest point | Upper Green route |
| Big Tunnel | Enter a big tunnel | After Yellow Tower |
| Big Ride | Ride the Train | After Blue Tower |
| Big Wall | Go beyond the wall | Black Tower / wall |
| Big Goodbye | Finish the game | First ending |
| Big Game | Completely finish the game | 100% ending |
| Big Makeover | Get Shiny | Separate cosmetic cleanup |
PS5 also tracks a platinum-style Big Trophy for unlocking the rest —platform stores may label it separately from the twelve named above.
Early unlocks —precise triggers
Big Walk
Crossing to the far side of the opening red drawbridge unlocks it. Watching the bridge extend is not enough —walk across.
Big Pack
The backpack must be equipped on your back. Holding it in both hands does not count. Friends equip backpacks on you —see Backpacks & Bags.
Big View
Enter the physical Map Room after the Red Tower key route. Picking up the portable paper map alone is a different item trigger.
Big Help
- Equip a hip belt.
- Attach a compatible item (folded portable map is a clean choice) to the hip slot.
- Leave it attached until the achievement appears.
Holding the belt or map without seating it on the hip fails the check.
Transport unlocks —Green / Yellow / Blue
Big Sit
Activate the Green chairlift, wait for chairs to circulate, and board a moving seat. Standing at a dead station does not count.
Big Climb
Riding the lift is not enough. Leave the upper chairlift route and reach the highest-point terrain trigger. Elevation matters more than time spent sitting.
Big Tunnel
After Yellow unlocks the tunnel, walk fully through the entrance. Hovering on the threshold is not entering.
Big Ride
Board a moving train carriage after Blue activates the loop. A parked car on the platform often fails the trigger.

Late unlocks —wall, endings, Shiny
Big Wall
You must pass beyond the wall on the late Black Tower route. Seeing it or standing at a closed gate is insufficient. This is not the same trigger as finishing the game.
Big Goodbye
Main ending after colored towers, Black Tower, final black sphere, and Wave Goodbye building —details on Endings.
Big Game
Post-Big Goodbye cleanup: seven purple puzzles, every skipped normal puzzle, final key, hidden room sequence. Big Goodbye unlocking never auto-grants Big Game.
Big Makeover
Separate Shiny interaction. Reaching a cosmetic area or finishing an ending does not automatically make you Shiny —complete the interaction that changes the character state.
Troubleshooting table
| Symptom | Likely miss |
|---|---|
| Bridge open, no Big Walk | Never crossed to the far side |
| Holding a backpack, no Big Pack | Not equipped on the back |
| Portable map grabbed, no Big View | Never entered the Map Room volume |
| Belt on, no Big Help | No item seated in the hip slot |
| At chairlift, no Big Sit | Lift inactive or never boarded a moving seat |
| Rode lift, no Big Climb | Never reached the summit trigger |
| Yellow door open, no Big Tunnel | Never walked inside |
| At station, no Big Ride | Train not moving when boarded |
| Found wall, no Big Wall | Never crossed beyond it |
| Big Goodbye but no Big Game | Post-game cleanup unfinished |
| Near Shiny area, no Makeover | Interaction not completed |
Party tips for trophy nights
- Keep one host save for the entire checklist —guests cannot fragment achievements across random lobbies and expect one coherent platinum run.
- Call unlocks out loud so twelve people are not reinventing the same miss.
- Do not abandon a tower night to chase Big Climb unless the group agreed this session is summit tourism.
- After Version 1.4.8, quiet-mic bugs are largely addressed —re-test audio before long cleanup nights (patch notes).

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Big Walk questions.
How many achievements are in Big Walk?
Twelve named achievements, plus a PS5 platinum-style trophy for unlocking the rest on PlayStation.
Are Big Goodbye and Big Game the same?
No. Big Goodbye is the main finish. Big Game is the later 100% ending after purple and leftover puzzles.
Does picking up the portable map unlock Big View?
No. You must enter the physical Map Room. Attaching the folded map to a hip belt is the clean Big Help trigger instead.
Why didn’t Big Pack unlock when I carried a backpack?
It must be equipped on your character’s back. Holding it in your hands does not count.
Can we keep playing after Big Game?
Yes. Full completion usually offers Continue so the same host save can keep wandering.
